Digital Resort Tycoon
Run a resort for 52 weeks and find out what drives direct bookings.
You get a small resort with a great location and a solid product, but a poor digital presence. You have 52 weeks and a limited budget to decide what to build, when and in what order: product, website, booking, SEO, local listing, content, reputation, advertising and automation. You cannot buy everything: what you do first matters.

What is included
- A 52-week campaign on a contemporary oceanfront resort with four zones —lobby, rooms, pool and restaurant— that go from “neglected” to “flagship” in five visible levels.
- Seventeen investments, from the physical product to digital growth: website, Booking UX, SEO, local listing, content, reputation, social, automation and chatbot. Diminishing returns, works that take weeks and delayed effects.
- Eighteen events with choices that have no “right” answer, eight synergies to discover while you play and eleven achievements. Chance is reproducible: the same seed and the same decisions give the same result.
- Five connected metrics —Visibility, Experience, Conversion, Reputation and Direct Bookings—, an “Explain why” view on each one and LUM Insights, which reads your numbers without telling you what to buy.
- A Resort Report at the end of the year with your score, your strategy profile, your strongest area, your constraint, and what worked and what did not.
Accessibility and performance
- With “reduce motion” turned on in your system, camera transitions, particles and flashes are shortened and the cash counter jumps to its final value. The simulation does not change.
- Panels and dialogs trap and return focus, Esc closes or pauses, screen reader announcements follow the language of the page and there is a zone navigation made for keyboards. The game interface is in Spanish, English and German.
- Automatic graphics quality: the game measures your device, lowers or recovers finishes according to frames per second and stops when the tab is hidden. You can also choose it yourself in Graphics or in the pause menu.
- If the 3D scene cannot start or the graphics context is lost, a 2D map with the same zones and panels takes over, without losing your game. The Pause button of the window and losing focus open the pause menu.
Frequently asked questions
How long does a game take?
The 52 weeks take between 30 and 90 minutes, depending on how long you stop at each decision (a Lab estimate, not measured in this edition). It saves by itself, so you can leave it and pick it up later.
Can I lose?
There is no game over. If cash runs out, an emergency plan lets you carry on (cut spending, recovery financing or presold bookings, each with its cost). At the end of the year you always get your Resort Report.
Is the money in the game real?
No. It is LUM Credits, fictional dollars, in a simulation. It is not financial advice.
Where is my game saved and can I move it to another device?
In this browser, in IndexedDB, and it saves by itself. In the pause menu you can export it as a file and import it on another device. You can delete it with the “Delete my progress” link on this page. If lumHUB and the LUM360 Lab share an origin, the game can import a Lab game; browsers keep storage separate per domain, so on lumhub.app the Lab save is not visible.
Does it work on a phone?
It is designed first for one hand in portrait: panels are bottom sheets and quality adjusts by itself. We tested it in a desktop browser with emulated touch; we have not tested it on physical phones for this edition.
It does not load or it is slow. What can I do?
Check that your browser has WebGL 2 and choose “Light” in Graphics. If the 3D view does not start, the 2D map lets you play anyway. Close other heavy tabs and press Play again.
