LUM SORT 3D

Sort. Flow. Breathe.

A 3D colour-sorting puzzle: pour the liquid from one glass bottle into another until every bottle holds a single colour. Sixty levels in six collections, a goal-free ZEN mode and ASMR sound synthesised in your browser. It is different from Water Color Sort, a 2D game with coins, a shop and a daily challenge: there is no economy here, just glass, light and calm.

What is included

  • Glass bottles with a liquid that obeys gravity: the surface stays level even when the bottle tilts, with sloshing, reflections on the table and a pour that leaves the mouth of one bottle and lands in the other.
  • Sixty levels in six collections (CRYSTAL LAB, OCEAN GLASS, GOLDEN STUDIO, CHROMATIC GARDEN, AURORA CHAMBER and LUM ATELIER), each with its own light, table and music. The levels are solved and checked in advance. They are played in order: finishing one unlocks the next.
  • Up to three stars per level depending on your moves against par. Completing a collection unlocks a different glass flask; they are cosmetic only and give no advantage.
  • ZEN mode: no stars, par or score. Each puzzle is taken from a checked bank and shuffled, so it is different every time; undo and hint are still available.
  • Synthesised ASMR: the pour, the clink of glass and the music are sound generated in your browser, with four independent volumes (master, music, effects and ASMR). No audio files.

Accessibility and performance

  • Color Assist adds a different symbol to each colour, visible on the liquid; the palette is chosen to stay distinguishable under the most common forms of colour blindness. Reduced motion (from your system or the settings) removes the parallax and the cinematic camera and cuts down the particles.
  • Each bottle is a button with its contents described, and the selection, pours, solved bottles and the end of a level are announced. The whole game can be played with the keyboard.
  • Automatic graphics quality: the game measures frame times and steps down one level if the device cannot keep up; you can also choose it here or inside the game. It stops when the tab is hidden and the pause menu opens when focus is lost.
  • The game interface is in Spanish, English and German. Proper names (LUM SORT, ZEN and the six collections) stay in English.

Frequently asked questions

How is it different from Water Color Sort?

Water Color Sort is a 2D game with LUM coins, a shop of themes and accessories, a colour path and a daily challenge. LUM SORT is 3D: glass bottles with liquid that follows gravity, synthesised ASMR sound, sixty fixed levels and a goal-free ZEN mode. There are no coins and no shop: they share the idea of sorting colours, not the experience.

Can I lose?

No. There is no timer and there are no lives. If no valid move is left, the game tells you and you can undo or restart without limit.

What counts as completing the game for the statistics of this page?

Solving a puzzle, either a level or a ZEN one. It is counted once each time you open the game and only if you accepted measurement.

Where is my progress saved? Can I bring it from the Lab?

In this browser, in IndexedDB with a copy in localStorage. You can delete it with the “Delete my progress” link on this page or from Settings. If lumHUB and the LUM360 Lab share an origin, the game can import the Lab progress, read-only; browsers keep storage separate per domain, so on lumhub.app the Lab progress is not visible.

Does it work on a phone?

It is designed first for one hand in portrait and the buttons respect the notch. We tested it in a desktop browser with emulated touch; we have not tested it on physical phones for this edition.

It does not load or it is slow. What can I do?

Check that your browser has WebGL, choose Light in Graphics and close other heavy tabs. If the game does not open, press Try again, or exit and press Play again.

3D engine: Babylon.js (Apache 2.0 licence) and fflate (MIT licence, a local copy the game never reaches). The bottles, the liquid, the table and the sound are built and synthesised on your device: no model, texture or audio is downloaded. Design and code of LUM SORT: LUM360. Licences: Babylon.js / Apache-2.0 · fflate / MIT
