What is included

  • Ten rooms of a seaside house, from the living room to the recording studio. The order changes every game.
  • Fifty hidden objects, five per level, from sixteen models. The clock drops from 25 to 14 seconds and the light moves from golden hour to night.
  • Combos, Perfect Find and Perfect Round, one LUM Scan per level that shows the bearing of what is missing, and a rare LUM Point that does not always appear.
  • Daily 360: the same challenge for everyone during the day (UTC), and challenge links to try to beat someone else’s score.
  • Personal best for points and time, saved in your browser.

Accessibility and performance

  • With “reduce motion” turned on in your system, the impact pause and vibration are skipped and animations are reduced.
  • Full keyboard, mouse or touch screen. Screen-reader announcements in the page language: level, room, objects to find, finds and result.
  • Automatic quality: the game measures your device and lowers or restores finishes (shadows, reflections, glow, resolution) to keep it smooth. With data-saver mode or without hardware acceleration it starts on “Light”. You can also choose it yourself.
  • It pauses by itself when the window loses focus, you switch tabs or the graphics context is lost.

FAQ

FAQ

How do I play?

Each level shows five objects in a tray. Turn the view, find them in the room and tap them. If the clock reaches zero, the level ends with the ones you have found.

What is Daily 360?

A fixed challenge per day: the seed comes from the UTC date, so everyone plays the same rooms and objects. You can replay it; your best score of the day is kept.

How do I challenge someone?

When you finish, press “Challenge someone”. A link to this page carrying the seed and your score is copied (or shared). Whoever opens it and presses Play plays exactly the same challenge. The score travels in the link and is not verified.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes: you drag to look and tap to find. If your browser allows it, you can turn on “Phone look” to turn the view by moving the device. We have not tested it on physical phones for this edition.

Where is my record saved?

In this browser. You can delete it with the “Erase my progress” link on this page.

It will not load or runs slowly. What can I do?

Check that your browser has WebGL 2 and choose “Light” under Graphics. Close other heavy tabs and press Play again.

3D engine: Three.js (MIT licence). The rooms, the objects and the sound are built on your device: no model or audio is downloaded. Design and code of The 360 Challenge: LUM360. Licences: Three.js / MIT
