Digitize the World
Fly the isotype over the Mexican Caribbean and turn it into a digital experience.
You pilot the LUM360 isotype over a destination in Quintana Roo. At the start the place is a dark grid: it is there, but not digitized. Every ring you fly through sends out a wave that turns it, capture by capture, into finished architecture. Dodge the blind spots, follow the golden dots and cross the final portal.

What’s included
- A rail flight of two minutes or more, from arrival to the final portal, with road, bridge and archipelago stretches between zones.
- Four Quintana Roo destinations —Cancún, Tulum, Playa del Carmen and Bacalar— that change the stone, the sea, the sky and the light. Two flights in a row are never in the same place.
- Five captures, each with the object of the digital service it stands for: virtual 360° tour, photography and video, aerial view by drone, immersive 360° experience and digital presence.
- Three difficulties (Explorer, Pilot and Master), three lives and blind spots whose free gap is always centred on the line of golden dots. Points are multiplied by the difficulty.
- Challenge links: the seed and difficulty travel in the link, so whoever opens it flies exactly the same flight. Personal records saved in your browser.
Accessibility and performance
- With “reduce motion” turned on in your system, camera roll, field-of-view changes, vehicle sway and vibration are removed, and particles and transitions are reduced.
- Full keyboard, mouse, or one-handed touch. Screen-reader announcements in the page’s language: flight, captures, crashes and result. The game’s interface is in Spanish, English and German.
- Automatic quality: the game measures your device and lowers or restores finishes (shadows, glow, resolution) to stay smooth. With data-saver mode or without hardware acceleration it starts on “Light”. You can also choose it yourself.
- It pauses by itself when focus is lost, when you switch tabs or when the graphics context is lost.
FAQ
How do I play?
The vehicle moves forward on its own. Move the cursor, drag with a finger or use the arrow keys to fly through the five rings, collect golden dots and dodge the blind spots. When you cross the final portal your result appears.
Can I lose?
Yes: every crash into a blind spot costs a life and after three the signal is lost. What you captured up to then still counts. The golden dots always mark a clear path.
How do I challenge someone?
When you finish, press “Challenge someone”. A link to this page is copied (or shared) that carries the seed, the difficulty and your score. Whoever opens it and presses Play flies exactly the same flight. The score travels in the link and is not verified.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes: you drag with one finger and it works in portrait and landscape. We have not tested it on physical phones for this edition.
Where is my record saved?
In this browser, per difficulty. You can delete it with the “Delete my progress” link on this page.
It doesn’t load or it’s slow. What can I do?
Check that your browser has WebGL 2 and choose “Light” under Graphics. Close other heavy tabs and press Play again.
