Use of artificial intelligence

We use AI models for specific newsroom tasks, always with human verification.

Version 1 · 28 October 2026

  1. What we use it for

Spotting topics of local interest in public sources, ranking priorities and preparing summaries and drafts that an editor reviews.

  2. What we do not use it for

AI does not decide what is published, does not invent quotes or data and does not draft sensitive topics. No article is published without a person's approval.

  3. How we disclose it

Articles whose draft was prepared with AI say so next to the byline, naming the model used.

  4. Data

The process works with public information. We do not send readers' personal data to the models.
