Frequently asked questions
Can I convert iPhone HEIC photos?
Yes, HEIC and HEIF files with a compatible codec. The primary photo becomes a static SDR image. Live Photos, depth maps and original HDR are not exported.
How is RAW developed?
LibRaw decodes sensor data, applies recorded white balance when available, the color matrix and automatic brightness. An embedded thumbnail never replaces actual development. Manufacturer picture styles are not reproduced.
Are my originals modified or uploaded?
No. Processing and downloads happen in your browser. Only the usage counter is requested; photos, filenames and metadata are not sent.
Which option works for phone sharing?
JPG for phones produces up to 2560 px at 90% quality, keeping proportions. File size depends on the scene; there is no fixed size guarantee.
Can I keep transparency?
Yes, with PNG or WebP. JPG replaces it with white.
